****Starting after Winter break you child will be reading a chapter book that will be assigned to them.  They will be required to read a certain number of pages, or chapters each night and record the summary.  Each Friday they will be given time to meet with other students who are reading the same book, and discuss what they have read so far, make predictions, etc.  This will be apart of their nightly homework and be reflected through the reading log.****
